Community Involvement/Sponsorships
As part of our goal to give back to the community, we have teamed up with Strathcona County Recreation, Parks and Culture to sponsor both the MacMillan Team Field at Millenium Place and the MacMillan Team Arena at Ardrossan Recreation Complex.
Most recently we sponsored the Team in Training Contest, in partnership with Strathcona County. Teams were encouraged to share their stories exemplifying sportsmanship and team work, in exchange for the chance to win a special team training session at Ardrossan Recreation Centre. We were ecstatic to award 5 well deserving teams a special training session. Thank you for being such a true representation of team work on and off the field!

The MacMillan Team is a front-runner in terms of giving back to the community, often devoting endless support to countless charities and local causes. The MacMillan Team sponsorship of the Children's Miracle Network is a great example of our community citizenship. Since 1992, RE/MAX and The MacMillan Team have been a major contributor to the Children's Miracle Network; a North American fund-raising organization dedicated to generating funds and awareness programs for the benefit of children, served by its over 170 associated hospitals. The MacMillan Team and RE/MAX raise over $3 million annually on behalf of 11 Canadian Children's Hospital foundations.
The MacMillan Team is actively involved in the support of our troops; we donate a portion of every sale to the Wounded Warriors of Canada. Wounded Warriors of Canada provide care and support for soldiers that have been injured in the line of duty. They provide counseling, medical attention, as well as general amenities to make the soldiers feel more at home.
